INSIGHT
Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Renner. NASA used it extensively throughout the Apollo 11 mission and called it the “the typeface of the future.” Its clean, simple shapes made it perfect for space and represented progress, precision, and forward-thinking modern design.
CONCEPT NOTE
The poster explores how Futura is constructed through geometric forms and alphabet structures. The top half focuses on the typeface, while the bottom half shows a zoomed-in image of the moon with the Apollo 11 plaque. The background evokes space, connecting Futura to the landing.
