ABOUT THE PROJECT
A sustainable packaging concept for cat food, designed using recyclable cardboard. Shaped like a fish and built to fold into a cat toy once emptied, it extends the packaging's life beyond a single use.
BRIEF
Design sustainable packaging for any product using eco friendly materials
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Most cat food in India comes in plastic pouches, bags, and metal cans, all thrown away after a single use. This waste piles up in landfills and leaks into natural ecosystems. At home, if a cat chews or tears at the packaging, they also risk ingesting harmful chemicals. This creates a need for reusable and sustainable packaging solutions.
CONCEPT NOTE
One box. Endless play. A fish shaped cat food box that doesn't stop at holding food. Once empty, it becomes a toy your cat can bat around and paw at. Parts of the box also fold into a second toy, a dangling fish cats go crazy for. Two toys from one box, made entirely from recyclable paper, safe for cats and kind to the planet.
